Solace Icons III Tron Theme

Description: I built the glass orb myself in Illustrator, It's my fifth attempt at the same web button, and each time it looks more shiny and more realistic.

In the last attempt I figured out how to do transparency masks, which for Illustrator is convoluted and messy and still doesn't look as good as Photoshop's. I built these icons in PS using the glass web button I created in AI.

It's somewhat hard to tell from the preview, but these icons are somewhat translucent and look best on an object dock

Added suggestions from the first comment, I might be doing a full adobe suite to match this set, but atm I'm using square icons that match...

Improved quite a few already made, made an alternative Firefox icon and added carbon fiber effect to many blue and black icons. Also added many more, set now has 36 icons.

Finally finished the Adobe Suite set and added a set of like Autodesk Suite icons. I've added a few more of the normal spherical icons over time as I've needed them personally.

The square button was made by pulling the sphere into a square shape layer by layer, and then by going back through and adding a curve to the sides of all the layers. I also changed the button so that it was darker on the bottom. Set now contains 51 icons.

Made a third variation of the orb, with a lens or metal border around the outside of the orb so that I could put together icons like the world of warcraft icon and the time machine. It sounds quite a bit easier than it was to make, it's two orbs with a hole placed in the middle, matched at the seem so as to look three dimensional.

I also made a second set that should be compatible with mac system icons, although I seem to be missing four. If anyone could confirm for me if they work properly that would be excellent.

Notable icons in this set is a full Office Suite, with two styles as I used the new orb with a border to retool the Office set. A full Adobe Suite, a full Autodesk Suite, I believe since many of the Autodesk products have been discontinued or are obsolete. Also a Fontlab Studio icon and a Paint Tool Sai icon, a Corel Paint icon, a full set of folder icons and a full set of system icons, and every windows and mac browser to my knowledge except for Safari and Thunderbird. Finally, I tried to make all the most useful mac program icons I could think of.

I'm aware it's not really a tron theme, but the set goes really well with any tron theme that isn't too minimalistic.
